FAQ's about Purple's Recovery Center

Can I Work?

Our program is designed to accommodate a daytime work schedule. All of our groups and meetings are scheduled for the evening. When possible, we like for each client to have the first two weeks off work so that they can connect to their community. Each situation is evaluated individually.

For clients who do not have a job, we will assist them in finding employment. However, we are not a job placement agency nor do we take them to a day labor pool. We expect all clients to find employment so that they can contribute financially to their recovery program and be productive members of society.

What About Transportation?

Clients are allowed to have their cars here after a period of time. Each situation is again evaluated individually based on the client’s level of accountability and responsibility. In all cases the client must have a valid driver's license, proper registration and proof of insurance.

For clients without transportation, we will assist them in getting to meetings, to the store and to work, but we are not a taxi service. Any client with a car has the responsibility to assist the clients without transportation.
