Program Director - Brett Bagley, CAC IBrett, a Certified Addiction Counselor, has been working with addicts since 1998. Brett is intuitive and understanding of alcoholics and drug addicts and he brings real workable solutions and life skills to his work. Brett has a natural talent for counseling and an ability to reach those who are dependent on alcohol and drugs. He is a spiritual individual who is constantly thinking outside the box. He is resourceful and has unending patience. Brett lives the life he teaches his clients to strive for. The principles he incorporates into his counseling are the principles he lives by. |
Executive Director - Joel Bagley, CAC IBelieving that recovery from alcohol and drug abuse involves the entire family unit, Joel provides direction, education and insight for family recovery. Joel has been studying and working with families for over a decade. His experience brings hope to the suffering family. Joel is a jolly, caring, well-rounded individual, who truly understands the 12 steps and the concepts behind them. From this understanding, he has developed a spiritual awareness that enables him to remain grounded in a spirit of service to his fellow man. From a young age, Joel has been a courier of sorts - a carrier of a message. Although the message has changed throughout the years, it has always been backed by a strong commitment to spiritual growth. The message he carries to the men at Purple and their families is a message of hope and love. Both clients and family members continue to seek Joel's wisdom and guidance long after they have graduated the program.

Administrative Assistant - Andrea BagleyAndrea joined the Purple staff in early 2008. With a background in interior design and a natural skill set for creativity and being detail-oriented, Andrea is the glue that holds the staff together. She is a strong, hard-working woman who is full of life, love, and energy. She is intuitively in sync with those about her and is committed to personal growth.

Case Manager & Property Manager -Stark BeardStark was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. A true "Life Enthusiast," Stark is a well-traveled renaissance man with a talent for all things handy and a love for all things outdoors. He is a creative craftsman and woodworker, a certified EMT, a family man, a certified firefighter, and much more in between. Although he and his wife, Julie, and their son, Kaden, have lived in Atlanta since 2001, he is still a self-proclaimed ski bum at heart. Stark uses his love for the outdoors to involve the clients in activities such as volleyball, croquet, and football. Stark is friendly and thoughtful and teaches the clients through his actions about true happiness and a love for life.

Case Manager - Michael WhatleyFormerly a chef, Michael is now a Certified Addictions Counselor. He has been sober since 2005 and is married to his wife, Kelly. Michael manages P3, Purple's transitional-living facility. He also leads Aftercare Group, is in charge of treatment planning, runs a step study, and is developing a new cooking therapy group. He enjoys indy pop music and playing guitar. |
Senior Counselor - Ashley KilpatrickAshley has been working in the field since 1985 and is a Certified Addictions Counselor. He has pursued undergraduate studies at Oglethorpe University and Kennesaw State. Although he has been in the field for some time, recent advances in the science of addictive disorders has made this an especially wonderful time for Ashley in the treatment industry. He has a personal commitment to his work and consistently pledges to offer his clients the most effective tools for them to make the changes they want to make. |
