Mike's Story
"Life before treatment can only be described as the lowest of the low. I was 19 years old, just finished failing out of college, living with my mom, and completely unable to stop using cocaine. Eveyrthing in my life was falling apart and I had a hard time keeping my job. I spent every penny I had on drugs and was constantly searching for the next high. All of my friends were gone and I was completely alone. It was obvious it was time to get help or just die.
I came into Purple, Inc. and the first thing I found was hope. I could see that the people there were happy and they told me that there was hope for me too. Treatment is the best thing that has ever happend to me. It allowed me to abandon my old life and start over fresh. It was at Purple where I received a life better than I could have imagined.
Today life can only be described as amazing. I have so many blessings in my life. I have friends that would do anything for me and they truly love me for who I am. My relationship with my parents and the rest of my family is better than it has ever been. I have true purpose in my life today, and I can't imagine life being better than it is now, but I know if I keep practicing what I learned at Purple it will continue to improve."
